Publications

APM started publishing the journal „Buletin de perinatologie” in 1998. The journal is a scientific reviewed edition (ISSN 1810-5289). It is distributed in all medical institutions involved in providing mother and child care from the country (4 editions per year). Since 2003, each edition also includes 2-3 systematic reviews or clinically randomized studies from the Cochrane Library, WHO Reproductive Health Library.

Guidelines, modules, and protocols

The main elaborated publications were

• The A “Principles of organization and providing perinatal care” and B “Regionalized  perinatal service: levels and content” Perinatology Guidelines contain the national policy in perinatal care, updated in 2007
• Three volumes of evidence-based  clinical protocols (2003, 2005, 2007) for obstetricians, neonatologists, family doctors
• Instruction modules for obstetricians, neonatologists, family doctors (1999-2000, updated in 2004)
• Textbook of the national indicators in the perinatal care (2005)
• The preterm newborn: management, emergencies and monitoring” textbook (2008)
