Collaboration in Making Pregnancy Safer Initiative in the Republic of Moldova from 2002 as part of this initiative some courses were carried out in EBM for obstetricians and neonatologists, it also aimed to strengthen of the institute of midwives, institutions part of the maternity units in implementing of appropriate interventions in perinatal care, new methods of maternal and near miss audit were introduced, as well as we focused in the strengthening of work with individuals, families, and community for the health of the mother and the newborn. The WHO bureau offered support in the elaboration of the perinatology policies and the expertise of the first protocols in obstetrics and neonatology.
